It may be the end of February, but our Sundance festival coverage continues! This week we chat with "Paddleton" writer/director Alex Lehmann as well as co-stars Mark Duplass and Ray Romano. This platonic rom-com cancer movie had us rolling in the aisles with laughter when we were not balling our eyes out, and we demand that all our listeners go watch the film on Netflix ASAP.
Our conversation begins with Alex Lehmann. We discuss our mutual love of Kung Fu cinema, the brilliance of scripting the film via improv, and the genius of his co-stars. We then jump on over to Mark Duplass and Ray Romano where we again talk about the pleasures of improv and building chemistry in a limited time. You do not want to miss these two chats.

Alexandre O. Philippe is not interested in your tweets or soundbites. He is here to talk about film. That means you better pull up a chair because he has a lot to say regarding the great movies and he wants you to join in on the conversation.
In the first episode of the new In The Mouth of Dorkness ChatCast series, Brad and Lisa sit down with Philippe in Park City, Utah just before his new film "Memory: The Origins of Alien" had its Sundance premiere. They discuss his desire for long-form film conversations and why he felt Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic deserved such an in-depth analysis.
