The planet is on the brink of destruction. Humanity needs to wake up to the devastation they're perpetrating. Who has the power to slap us into action? The Bardem Brothers?? Documentarian Alvaro Longoria follows Javier Bardem and Carlos Bardem as they travel to the Arctic to aid Greenpeace in bringing awareness to the dwindling majesty of the globe's largest continent. "Sanctuary" explores how celebrity and social media can be weaponized, and why the world desperately needs our attention down south. We talk to Longoria right before the film screened at TIFF, and probed his optimism regarding Earth's seemingly apocalyptic fate.
